Great food. The restraunt is also kinda hidden I've drove by it dozens of times and never noticed. Big enough to have a large party if booked in advance. Service was a little slow but it was the lunch rush.

Great atmosphere and Margaritas.

A little pricey. Pitchers of Margaritas are very weak. Order Premium Tequila. Good Food.

I visit this superb restaurant every couple of days because I like the good mood that is exist in this restaurant. The crew is exceptionally friendly and skilfull. The service is awfully quick. Most important, the food you get is magnificent. I frequent many times and I was never disappointed. The expense is reasobable. I recommend this place to to everybody.

Definitely some of the best authentic Mexican food I've had in a long time. Their services rate and the way to says were very polite I really can't say anything negative about the place even the rest rooms were very clean. I definitely recommend this place to anybody in the area and and case you're wondering now I have no affiliation with that place at all besides eating the food there one time were actually to times now

Been eating at Tropical Mexico for close to 20 years. The food is consistently good. My favorites include the carne asada plate, enchiladas rancheras, tacos asada, and the civeche. Take any one of them with a tecate and some lime and you're breast to rock.

Their team, Octavio in particular, was amazing and so helpful. I needed 24 enchiladas and 24 hard shell tacos, beans, rice, and all the fixings for two work meetings and they really came through and we're super kind. I will sing their praises to everyone AND THEIR food is fresh and tasty.

It was nice got taken care if as soon as i sat down l give them a 10 .

Tropical Mexico was exactly the kind of place we remember it as. We have not been here in a few years until last night. The staff was great and seem to know everything about the menu. They brought the food and everything else we asked for when we asked for it. The food was delicious as usual. My family ordered several combinations from the menu and each one was done exactly the way we expected it. Overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend Tropical Mexico.

Good food, great service. Basic Mexican (really Jalisco rancho style) food excellently prepared. Can't get any better than these servers. Also, for lunch, they prepare and serve quickly, giving you plenty of time to eat and relax.

I went about 2 weeks ago. Friendly staff and clean environment. To be honest I didn't like the wet burrito. Even though the chicken was good there wasnt enough of it and it was mostly beans so I felt like I bought a bean burrito for 12 dollars. The beer was the only thing I enjoyed.

This place is my number one place. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to this restaurant. Whenever I want to go to a delicious meal, this is the place that comes immediately to my mind. excellent and many types of food and a large list of dishes.trained crew, and nice mood. Also, the bill is modest. I praise this spot with no doubt.

Have previously been going to Tropical Mexico Restaurant for 20+ years. Excellent Mexican food and drinks, however, their prices for food have steadily increased, this isn't the most troubling item as furtherexplained. A pitcher of margaritas now cost $30.00, without requesting a big name tequila. This is ridiculous, and is causing us to reconsider going to this once affordable and fine Mexican restaurant. We believe the owner wants dollars over the previous loyal customers.

Really good food and service. I have been coming here for years. I recommend the shrimp cocktail.

Authentic food, very yummy and service is very good. I just don't understand why they don't have cjilaquiles con carne is their menu.

It is my grandfather's favorite restaurant! We love it too! He always gets ala carte chile relleno and cheese enchilada, and it is great every time!

My family meets here regularly for last minute get-together's. 15 to 20 will show up and without any problems, always get seated within 10 minutes. Excellent Mexican food along with margaritas or choice of beers. Friendly staff, decent prices, and clean dining area. Parking in the back lot too. Can reserve area for celebrations. TVs available in the back enclosed patio to watch sports.

Certainly a spot worth trying, the food is awesome and well prepared, the pricing is fair and it is consistently well organized there. Kudos.

Great tasting food but very small portions and pretty pricey.

Excellent cheese enchiladas! Rice and beans taste authentic. Free refills on drinks, and chips and salsa. Atmosphere is nice and simple, layed back vibe. Waiters and waitresses were very nice and knowledgeable on food and substitutions on certain ingredients. Must say we have a great Sunday dinner.

Was visiting Pomona from Canada for work and really wanted Mexican food. This place was recommended by a coworker. The food was fanatic and the service was quick. Prices are very reasonable. Just in from New York City, where you'd think that it'd be a lot--LOT!!!--easier to get a good, authentic tasting Mexican meal than it turns out to be...so, you can imagine how grateful we were to my parents (who live in Chino Hills) to take us to this fabulous Mexican restaurant!!! Wonderful service, unbelievably tasty food!!!

Tropical Mexico is a really good restaurant in Pomona and it has superb customer support and it is always a pleasure to eat there. I usually order the taco combination plate or the enchiladas and taco plate. They also serve really good fajitas. The chips and salsa are also really good. A good time to go is around 5:00 p.m. because this place gets really busy after 6:00 p.m.
